Almora is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are removed. We store your date of birth to enforce this; other members only ever see your age, never your date of birth.

What we collect
Account details, the profile information you choose to provide (languages, interests, values, questionnaire answers, photos), and your privacy and notification settings.
How your data is protected
Every table enforces row level security, so records are readable only by you. Photos live in a private bucket accessed through short-lived signed links.
Consent records
When you register we record which consents you gave, the document version and the timestamp. The current privacy policy version is 2026-08-01. Only you can read your own consent records.
What you control
You choose your visibility, whether you are discoverable, and which profile fields are public. You can edit or remove anything you have shared.
Deleting your data
Account deletion is available from Settings and removes your profile data after the grace period.
